Finding TikTok creators is not the hard part. The TikTok Shop affiliate marketplace already gives you a pool of them, and there are more every week. The hard part is telling which ones will sell your product, and that is a different job entirely.

Where creators actually come from

Three places put creators in front of you.

  1. The TikTok Shop affiliate marketplace. Creators list themselves, and you can filter by category and followers. It is the default starting point and the biggest pool.

  2. Creators already working your category. Look at who sells products like yours, or the products next to yours. A creator already converting in an adjacent category is a warmer lead than a stranger with more followers.

  3. Creators your competitors work with. The people who sell what you sell have already run the filter. Their partnerships are a map.

Finding is the easy part

A list of a thousand creators does not answer the only question that costs you money: is this one worth a sample? Sorting by followers gives you the most popular creator, not the one who will sell your product.

So the work is not finding more names. You have more names than you can use. The work is narrowing them without watching hours of video for each one.

What to check once you have a list

For each candidate, three things decide it.

  1. What they sell. Most of it should be in your category.

  2. Shop content ratio. How much of what they post features products or affiliate links, versus pure entertainment.

  3. Who their audience is. A small audience already buying your category beats a large one that is there for entertainment.

That list is the start. Vetting each candidate is the next step.
